God is there1

Reading

Romans 1:20(a) [NIV] For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen

Reflection

The past several months has been challenging at work. A lot of deadlines. A lot of midnight oil burning. A lot of stress over details. And for the past several months, I forgot that no matter what – God is there. That’s right, I tried to do everything on my own – including worrying. The longer the challenges continued, the longer I did not go to Him.

Day by day we have decisions to make. Yet scripture reminds us of His eternal power and divine nature. Fact is, when we think we are all alone, He is watching beside us.

Today at work, let Him help you. For no matter what – God is there!

Prayer

Lord, thank You for bringing this verse to me and reminding me that You are there for me each day. Thank You for being my rock, my comforter, and my friend – especially at work. I pray I will see You in every situation and in every deadline. In Your Holy Name, I pray. Amen.
